Kankakee Public Library Announces Walk-In Services Only

Kankakee Public Library, 201 E. Merchant Street, will return to walk-in services only, until further notice.
For the safety of patrons and staff, masks will be required while inside the library, and staff ask patrons to maintain social distancing, plus please utilize the hand sanitizer provided throughout the library. There will be no public seating available at this time.
The library will provide walk-in services only. This means patrons may use library services that move people through the library quickly, including: Checking out materials, picking up holds, sending a fax, printing documents, making copies, and limited computer use.
Although there is no public seating allowed, curbside pickup will be available by calling 815-937-6901.
The staff looks forward to seeing their patrons and being able to offer the services that are available at this time! Thank you for your understanding.
